One day French cooking course

Northern France, Normandy, France

per person

About the location

If you love food, French classics and exploring new recipes, this cooking school is ideal for you. So much more than cooking, you will be led through the markets and artisan shops to buy the ingredients of your choosing in the French countryside.

Using only the freshest local produce of your choice, you will be learning to cook what you want-- and devising your own menu. The modern kitchen in the school has private working stations with plenty of space for up to 6 people.

Your accommodation, if you should choose to stay for the short cooking break, will be at the restored bakery - a gite that sleeps six comfortably and can easily become a home away from home. It is only 4 kilometres from the town of St Hilaire Du Harcouet, where you can grocery shop, hit the market on Wednesday, or get anything you may need for your stay.

Alternatively, if you choose to walk off the delicious meals you have prepared, you can opt for a wonderful walk through the woods right outside your door, or drive to a nearby medieval town and wander through the ancient streets.

This cooking school has it all - stop by for a day to get to know the local markets and cook your dream dish, or stay for awhile to get the full Normandy experience on a cooking holiday you won’t forget!
