We love language holidays
We love learning languages. Discovering new cultures. Conversing with locals. French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, German, Japanese, Chinese, we want to learn them all.
We don’t do the usual language courses. We don’t do stuffy classrooms. We don’t do uninspiring teachers. We don’t do the tourist trail. Instead, we offer the innovative, the magnificent, the inspirational. Our language holidays last a lifetime.
We’ve tongue twisted our way around the globe to curate an eclectic mix of language holidays that are as magnificent as the people that go on them and the linguists who teach them.
Want to speak like a local but don’t fancy spending your holiday stuck in a classroom? Combine lessons with activities and the chance to hang out with locals on a GoLearnTo.com language course.
Try an indulgent foodie break with a side serving of Italian lessons in Tuscany. Learn the Spanish for hang ten whilst surfing the big ones in San Sebastian. Add Portuguese and capoeira to your skills list in Brazil. Put on your dancing shoes and say ‘bailamos’ in Buenos Aires. Cook up a tasty tagine whilst practising your Arabic. Challenge your body and mind on a Spanish and yoga holiday in Granada. See Costa Rica through a lens as you learn the Spanish for Photography.
Pick up vocabulary in cafes and squares, in art galleries, cinemas, museums, at local bars and concerts. This is what a language course should feel like.
Accelerate your skills on a full immersion course
Moving in with your teacher - an abhorrent notion to a teenager, but as an adult, it’s the best way to accelerate your language learning.
Instead of trawling through a textbook, chat to your tutor from breakfast to bedtime while staying in their home. Become part of the family. Join in with your teacher’s life. Rub shoulders with the locals. Go shopping and explore the nightlife. Away from a classroom, self-consciousness slips away and faltering conversations become animated. Language skills are accelerated.
A week’s immersion gives you the same language skills you would expect after spending 4 weeks in a classroom.
Who are our language holiday guests?
Solo travellers. Professional singles with a love for the language and culture of a place. Those with inquiring minds. Complete beginners to the nearly fluent. University students looking to pass exams. People of all ages from 20’s to 70’s. People from around the world with a passion to share and a story to tell.

What do our guests think?
It’s not the done thing to boast. So you won’t find us crowing about how amazing our language tutors are. Nor how good our service is, or the fact that you can live with locals and come home with a skill to be proud of. Mum’s the word. We prefer to let our guests do the talking.
A very enjoyable experience. My host family were delightful. I was able to gain a real insight into the French way of life. Loved every minute. A Jack, UK: French immersion course, Provence
I am from a village outside Scarborough, I get the mickey taken out of the way I speak here, I have never read more than the first page of a book, and I only went for the cooking, the language was a scream, it’s a must. G Baker, UK: Cooking and Italian holiday, Florence, Italy
