We love Italian cookery holidays…
We love Italian food. No question. Fresh pasta, truffles, olive oils, Parma ham, pizza, focaccia, parmesan cheese and wine, we want to try it all. Never will we utter ‘not another creamy risotto’ or, ‘I hope this Parma ham doesn’t come with fresh figs and mozzarella.’
There’s something about cooking Italian food that is comforting: like a big welcoming hug from a chubby-armed Italian mamma.
We don’t dish up the usual Italian cookery courses. Instead, our holidays are deliberate concoctions of Italy's genius for adding vitality to everyday experiences, balanced and seasoned to your taste.
Go learn to cook anything from homemade breads drenched in rich and peppery olive oil. Pasta with truffle sauce to creamy risotto funghi. The exacting Neapolitan pizza to a filling Tuscan panzanella. Velvety tiramisu to delectable affogato.
Take a short break or week long holiday to suit your taste in Tuscany, Umbria, Rome, Lake Garda, Sorrento, Sicily, Veneto or Puglia.
For a quirky take on a cooking break, why not combine it with learning Italian, wine tasting, truffle hunting, olive oil tasting, painting or horse riding?
Go. Have your Italian cake and eat it. This is what an Italian cookery holiday should taste like.
Who are our Italian cooking holiday guests?
Solo travellers. Friends. Couples. Those with enthusiasm and a taste for la dolce vita. Beginners who struggle to boil an egg to more advanced cooks. Interesting types. The culinary-minded who love to learn. Those partial to a good glass of wine or three. People of all ages and nationalities who refuse to be boxed in.
Is this you? It looks like you.
Thousands of people have already discovered that our Italian cookery holidays last a lifetime. Come and join them.
What do our guests think?
It’s not the done thing to boast. So you won’t find us crowing about how amazing our Italian Chefs are. Nor how good our service is, or the fact that the accommodation is wonderfully comfortable and characterful, the food delicious and the wines delectable. Mum’s the word. We prefer to let our guests do the talking.
I really enjoyed my trip. Everything went well, I especially loved Luciano, he is an amazing chef and teacher and has a great sense of humour. I loved the sights of Tuscany, the atmosphere, the people I met on the trip
A Lapushinskaya, Russia: Gourmet Tuscan cookery holiday
This was all so much better than we expected and in our view understated by yourselves. Being part of this family who could not do enough for us was indeed a high point. The quality of course content, ingredients used and the abundance of wine has ensured our on-going enthusiasm for this type of holiday.
Glyn Baker, UK: Cooking and wine holiday in Veneto, Italy
I have a good knowledge of general cooking anyway so was looking for some authentic insight into pizza and pasta. I loved the un-fancy , artisan honest, approach and feel to the whole school. To say it’s a school gives the wrong idea. Its like a family business and so friendly. I will be back!!
