We love French cooking holidays…
We love French food. No question. Fresh croissants, tarte de tatin, duck Magret, soufflés, pungent cheeses and delectable wine, we want to try it all. Never will we utter ‘not another pain au chocolat’ or, ‘I hope this cheese doesn’t come with wine pairings.’
The French embrace food as a way of life: something to savour and to spend hours revelling in alongside good company and fine wine. Not only that, but the national diet is delicious - who doesn't love rich creamy cheeses, fresh bread, divine chocolate and steak?
We don’t dish up the usual French cookery courses. Instead, our holidays are deliberate concoctions of France’s passion for good food, locally sourced, balanced and seasoned to your taste.
Go learn to cook anything from buttery croissants to moules marinières. Light as air soufflés to rich and filling cassoulet. Summery Niçoise salad to a delectable crème brûlée. Velvety béarnaise sauce to comforting duck confit.
Take a short break or week long holiday to suit your taste in Provence, Bordeaux, Lyon, Gascony, La Rochelle, Brittany, the Loire Valley and more.
For an innovative take on a cooking break, why not combine it with learning to speak French, wine tasting, mussel harvesting, bread making, pastry making or spa treatments?
Go. Cook. Eat. Enjoy. This is what a French cookery holiday should taste like.
Who are our French cooking holiday guests?

The culinary-minded who love to learn. Those partial to a good glass of French wine or three. People of all ages and nationalities who refuse to be boxed in.

What do our guests think?
It’s not the done thing to boast. So you won’t find us crowing about how amazing our French Chefs are. Nor how good our service is, or the fact that the accommodation is wonderfully comfortable and characterful, the food delicious and the French wines delectable. Mum’s the word. We prefer to let our guests do the talking.
Surpassed expectations! Superb quality at a very competitive price. Nothing was too much trouble - the cooking course addressed everything that we asked for and was flexible enough for some interesting diversions!! All in all, thoroughly recommend it.
B Hillier, UK: Cookery holiday with visits to local producers, Bordeaux
We had a fantastic time, Chistian is a fabulous host and chef who makes you feel right at home. The highlight was eating fresh oysters on the beach with the most amazing views. The bread making was fun was but not so informative. We would reccomend this trip to anyone looking for a French experience.
