We love wine and cookery holidays
We love food. No question. Fresh, local, seasonal, meat, fish, vegetables, cheese, herbs, bread, wine, we want to try it all. Never will we utter ‘not another three-course meal’ or, ‘I hope this one doesn’t have wine pairings.’
We love cooking. We love learning about where our food comes from and we love it even more when our guests come back from our cookery holidays having discovered the real taste of a place.
We don’t dish up the usual cookery courses. Instead, our holidays are deliberate concoctions of varied and spicy ingredients, carefully balanced, and seasoned to your taste.
We’ve searched the culinary globe to curate an eclectic mix of cooking holidays that are as magnificent as the people that go on them and the Chefs who host them.
Chefs who inspire. Chefs with Michelin Stars. Home cooks who teach skills passed from generation to generation. Chefs with a story to tell and a passion to share.
Sample delectable dishes from France, Italy, Spain and Thailand. The more adventurous would-be cooks out there might be tempted by the taste of a cooking holiday in Turkey, Portugal, India or even Russia.
You can learn anything from knife skills to foraging. Patisserie to pizza making. Butchery to raw food. Olive harvesting to cheese making. Mussel harvesting to paella.
Go, take in every sight, sound and smell, like a greedy child. This is what cookery holidays should taste like.
Who are our cooking holiday guests?
Solo travellers. Friends. Couples. Those with enthusiasm and a love of local, seasonal food. Beginners who struggle to boil an egg to more advanced cooks. Interesting types. The culinary-minded who love to learn. Those partial to a good glass of wine or three. People of all ages and nationalities who refuse to be boxed in.
Is this you? It looks like you.
Thousands of people have already discovered that our cookery holidays last a lifetime. Come and join them.
What do our guests think?
It’s not the done thing to boast. So you won’t find us crowing about how amazing our Chefs are. Nor how good our service is, or the fact that the accommodation is wonderfully comfortable and characterful, the food delicious and the wines delectable. Mum’s the word. We prefer to let our guests do the talking.
This was one of the most incredible trips I've ever had. David was wonderful and so knowledgeable, the food was the best I've had in France and the accommodations were picturesque. This is a trip that you don't want to skip! T Chatfield, UK: Dessert making weekend, France
This was all so much better than we expected and in our view understated by yourselves. Being part of this family who could not do enough for us was indeed a high point. The quality of course content, ingredients used and the abudance of wine has ensured our ongoing enthusiasm for this type of holiday. Glyn Baker, UK: Cooking and wine holiday in Veneto, Italy
